A Wishful One

Peculiar looking boy.

Wishes for a home with him.

The cutest wishes.

It could be true as they get older.

But with him time gets slower

So she blew at a dandelion.

Wishes he likes her

Actions may come to an agreement

She locks eyes with him

Everything about him is silently fervent.

You’ll never get anywhere watching wax burn

Is what her doctor prescribes

He’d frown to see her pink bleeding hearts.

Moreover

she blew at a dandelion.

The shadows grew darker

like a scarlet velvet petunia.

The tallest, grimmest brown orchid

stands within a few inches.

His words are like a secret.

Whispered and gone.

It’s too cold to be without a coat.

Peonies bloom from a casting.

She knew her wishes came true.
